Children’s Centres
Any
project can benefit from the structured AHM approach to
Project Management. Applications to the New Opportunities
Fund need a formal structure in order to provide the appropriate
responses to the information required.
AHM
provided support to a Local Authority to enable an application
to the New Opportunities Fund to be successful with the
minimum of post application questions.
The
Integrated Children’s Centre Project consisted of
four individual projects in each of four Communities First
areas. The methodology supported local staff in the development
of their individual bid, ensuring that there was local involvement
and ownership. The Project Board maintained overall direction
and weekly Workshops created the detailed document.
Providing
documentation for the application was only the first stage,
the documentation was designed to provide the basis for
the implementation of the individual projects and eventually
review their effectiveness against the original goals.
AHM provides complete or supportive project management for
applications. An AHM project ensures that project ownership
remains with the client.
